I washed and ironed over 24.25 yards of fabric I inherited from my SIL. That's not counting the many, many pieces that were smaller than 1/8 of a yard. I'm almost finished sorting through her stash. Her tastes were very different than mine, but I'm sure I'll find a use for all of it.
I knit every day this past week. I knit a pair of slippers and sewed a vest for a leprechaun. I didn't take photos and neither took much yarn/material. (American Girl size - 18 inch doll). I donated 4.5 yards to Value Village.
Fabric Used This Week: 4.5 yards (donated)
Fabric Used Year to Date: 4.5 yards
Fabric Added This Week: 24.25 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date: 77 yards
Net Fabric for 2017: + 72.5 yards
Estimated yardage on hand: 387.72 yards (Started 2018 with 315.22 yards)
I count fabric IN when it's washed, ironed and added to the stash cupboard. I count fabric OUT when I finish a top, back and/or binding.
